Our vision is society that is capable to achieve not only the sustainability but progressive development of each individual and the society itself. A society governed by harmony, self-awareness, unburdened by materialism, envy, hatred, greed. The society in which today is being created and lived, and the next generation is being improved.
Life is a being in search of meaning. Or maybe God had an intelligent purpose in creating us, and this intelligent purpose is the ‘meaning of life’. Biologist might say that life is sum of functions such as metabolism, growth, reproduction, and response to stimuli or adaptation to the environment originating from within the organism. Or life is a continuum of accomplishment, failure, discovery, dilemma, challenge, boredom, sadness, disappointment, appreciation, the giving and receipt of grace, empathy, peace, and our reactions to all sorts of stimuli – touch, love, friendship, loss…Human life may not have been created with any pre-determined purpose, but this need not mean that it cannot have a purpose, nor that this purpose cannot be just as good as, if not much better than, any pre-determined one.
If you ask people why they work, most will say for money. Some might claim that achieving success is main reason for working. Success however travels in the company of very hard work. There is no trick, no easy way. So, if we want to succeed, we need to work hard. Typically, hard work means something like 60 or 70 hours a week (sometimes 80 or 90), working at home in the evenings and weekends, and continuously juggling multiple projects in a frantic attempt to get them all done. Working hard does come with its own intrinsic rewards: money, pride, a sense of accomplishment, respect from your peers. But there are challenges as well.
The search for balance is a constant work in progress. There’s no visible ending to it. Balance can (and should) look different for everyone, based on what is most important to you. There may be times in life when you are focused on career and personal development, and other times when your focus turns to family or a favorite hobby.
